U2, The Godfathers, Pere Ubu, R.E.M., Magadeath, and Jerry Harrison, As Latimer's promoted more and more shows, large companies started utilizing Latimer's skills for event promotion. Latimer formed Events Unlimited to fill the niche. Some of the acts included: Manhattan Transfer, Spiro Gyra, Bill Cosby, and Charlie Daniels. Undercurrents, Inc began as a annual music industry conference, showcase and trade show in 1989. Latimer and 5 other partners booked and promoted up to 150 acts during one weekend of the year for exposure to the music industry. Some of the acts showcased include: Rusted Root, Mike O'Brien, The Smithereens, Paul Sanderson, Dink, and Love/Hate. As Undercurrents evolved, it has become a special niche marketing and promotion company that not only books and produces shows but free holds monthly educational forums about the music industry. www.undercurrents.com Latimer also managed the Pete Best Tour for the book "Beatle! The Pete Best Story" where he gained media exposure through Rolling Stone Magazine, M-TV, VH-1, Global Satellite Network, Larry King Live and multiple regional and national radio outlets.
